Hi John,
Can you believe that we’re nearly halfway through 2022? It’s gone by quickly, so I wanted to give you a quick update on what I’ve done in the Senate so far this year -- and what remains to be done.
Before I get into the specifics, I have to ask: If you’re able, will you make a quick donation to support my work?
Back in March, the Senate passed the Postal Reform Act to eliminate inefficiencies in the postal service, which millions of Americans rely on for their paychecks and prescriptions.
Then, the Senate voted unanimously to hold Putin accountable for his acts of war, and we secured funding for military assistance and humanitarian relief for Ukraine.
And last month, the Senate passed my legislation to level the playing field for American businesses and bring down prices for consumers by addressing supply chain backlogs.
Thanks to the support of this grassroots team, we’ve gotten a lot done -- but there’s still much left to do.
I’ve sponsored legislation to cap the out-of-pocket cost of insulin at $35, lower the price of prescription drugs and set fair rules of the road online to rein in Big Tech companies. I’m also fighting to codify Roe v. Wade into law and protect the right to choose.
I promise to never stop working when it comes to important issues like these. As always, I’m so thankful for this grassroots team; I hope you’ll contribute today to help me continue doing this work.
