I'm reaching out today because our November fundraising deadline is coming up on Saturday. Our goal is to get 10,000 individual donations before then to keep this people-powered campaign running.

Hitting this goal is important because being labeled a toss-up has made us a top target of Mitch McConnell.

You can see why every dollar counts when we're up against Mitch McConnell and his allies. So I have to ask:

Will you make a $3 donation towards our November fundraising deadline? The amount you donate isn't as important as the donation itself because this is truly a people-powered campaign.

It's important to remember that our campaign is not taking a dime of corporate PAC money.

Which means that we're counting on people giving small amounts of money often in response to emails like this to give us the resources we need to run a campaign free of corporate influence.
