The Republican Party of Minnesota just endorsed right-wing conspiracy theorist Scott Jensen for governor.

Jensen is the most extreme candidate the GOP delegates could have picked to lead their ticket. In the past two weeks alone, he’s threatened to jail Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon and pledged to ban abortion with no exceptions for rape.

While Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan fight to improve the lives of every Minnesotan across the state, Jensen is only focused on pandering to the most dangerous elements of the Republican base for his own political gain. But recent polling shows Jensen as the strongest Republican candidate against the Walz-Flanagan ticket.

This November, voters will have a clear choice: Jensen’s unhinged extremism that puts ideology over Minnesota families or Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan’s principled, steady leadership.
