Lesko Stands Up for Life

It is shameful that Democrats are attempting to undermine, harass, and intimidate our judicial system into ruling the way the Democrats see fit. We must stand with innocent life and protect the most vulnerable among us. Watch my full remarks on the House floor here:

I introduced a bill to reauthorize the FDA’s Critical Path Initiative to allow the FDA to work with universities and non-profit organizations. This will encourage more medical innovation and modernize the development of drugs and medical devices.

Lesko Introduces Legislation to Greenlight Resolution Copper Mine

Image

Did you know that Arizona's Resolution Copper Mine is able to provide 25% of all the copper our nation needs? I introduced the Unleashing American Resources Act to resume the Resolution Copper mining project and allow Arizona to unleash domestic mineral production after President Biden rescinded the permit that Trump approved.

GET THE FACTS: Baby Formula Shortage Leaves American Families Scrambling

As you may have heard, American families across our nation have been faced with a baby formula shortage. This is unacceptable! Stores across our nation such as Target, CVS, and Walgreens have imposed purchase limits as a result of this shortage. There is already so much that parents have to worry about while they are raising their baby. Being able to find baby formula should not be on that list! The Biden Administration must immediately present a plan to American families on how they will address this shortage. I joined House Energy and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ (R-WA-05) letter to the Biden Administration to demand that they take swift action. This should be a top priority for the Biden Administration because this is a matter of life and death for many babies.

Casework Highlight

A constituent contacted our office asking for assistance with the IRS. She had mailed a check to pay the balance owed on her tax return, but the payment had also been made electronically as a duplicate. After we reached out to the IRS, they refunded the constituent the duplicate payment.

Encouraging Story

I am pleased to share this story about a Valley veteran being gifted a mortgage-free home! Kevin Raposo, a Marine veteran who returned home with severe PTSD, was able to receive a new home that is mortgage-free thanks to Building Homes for Heroes. Building Homes for Heroes gifts mortgage-free homes to our troops every 11 days of the year. I am proud of Building Homes for Heroes’ incredible work and happy that Kevin is able to enjoy his new home with his family!
