As you know, midterm elections are typically tough for the party in power. This cycle, our district lines were redrawn making things a bit more challenging. Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC now has its sights squarely on our district, and CalMatters recently downgraded our chances of keeping CA-49 blue to a “TOSSUP.”

We’re making extraordinary progress for the people of this district – on San Onofre, business and economic relief, climate change and so much more. We’re leaving no stone unturned in our effort to educate new constituents about who I am and my record of delivering results.

That’s why this mid-quarter $35,000 fundraising goal is so critical.
