John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:Who's the next Soros DA? ([link removed]
Local news outlets report that the Arkansas Justice and Public Safety Political Action Committee (PAC) has spent over $100,000 supporting Alicia Walton, a candidate for prosecuting attorney for the Sixth Judicial District. Surprise, the PAC is exclusively funded by George Soros. CRC's Parker Thayer investigates here ([link removed] testified to the Senate ([link removed]
At a hearing chaired by Sen. Sheldon "'Dark money' controls the cosmos" Whitehouse (D-RI), I exposed how Democratic donors illicitly use 501(c)(3) "charities" for partisan voter turnout. I also criticized schemes to force nonprofits to disclose donors, and I teased the chairman that I do not believe left-wing "dark money" supporting him has "captured" him, though he insists the same kind of money from conservatives has somehow "captured" the Supreme Court. You can watch my testimony here ([link removed] and read my written statementhere ([link removed] But don't expect to see Sen. Whitehouse ask me any questions--he didn't last year when I testified, and he was just as scared to engage this year. What mistake did I make before Sen. Whitehouse's subcommittee? ([link removed]
In 2021, I testified to a Senate Judiciary subcommittee and erred: I claimed the Washington Post hadn't covered the left-wing "dark money" group Demand Justice. Turns out the Post had run a relatively brief article on them, but I'd missed it in my search, because the article didn't mention Arabella Advisors, which runs the vast left-wing network that launched the group. So I've published an apology, but my apology also documents all the ways the Post's biased coverage of Demand Justice differed from its coverage of the conservatives who oppose this left-wing network. A recent report on "democracy" givers finds that nearly all the top-20 donors lean left-ward. And donors in the top 100 include all the usual left-wing players and their foundations: George Soros, Pierre Omidyar, Warren Buffett, Mark Zuckerberg, and the Ford Foundation. CRC's Michael Watson critiques the list here ([link removed]

Who's Driving Wokeness in Schools? The Story of NAIS vs. Undercover Mother

Across America, a pandemic of "woke" ideology is quietly spreading through privately run schools and colleges supposedly shielded from government control. Proponents may call this new teaching "diversity, equity, and inclusion," but that's a euphemism for a dark agenda: inculcating kids with the Left's malicious obsession with race.

Meet Undercover Mother, a group of roughly 100 volunteer moms and dads from across the nation engaged in some of the finest investigative journalism happening today. These Undercover Mothers are fighting in the trenches to defeat the radical Left's agenda that's taken over our schools.

The SCOTUS Leak
In this episode ([link removed] It's the biggest story of the week in Washington. After an unprecedented breach of the Supreme Court's institutional security, Politico published a draft of a possible majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito that would overturn Roe v. Wade and return abortion regulation to the states.

The leak of a draft opinion is unheard of. Observers of and former clerks for the justices have wondered how it could have happened, given the Court's need for institutional confidentiality and the justices' routine affirmations of it.

And if the final ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health does resemble the leaked draft, the ramifications on public policy will be substantial.

Joining Michael Watson to discuss the leak and its implications are his CRC colleagues Sarah Lee and Ken Braun.
