We know you’re enjoying your weekend, but with our mid-quarter fundraising deadline set to expire tomorrow at midnight, we wanted to send a quick note to explain why meeting our goal is so critical:

• National Republicans broke all-time fundraising records for an off-year last quarter. With a critical Senate race ahead of us here in Colorado, we’re sure Republicans will spare no expense attacking Democrats in our state as they fight to flip the Senate majority.


• Republicans only need to flip one seat to take the Senate majority. If they do, they’ll pass legislation that rolls back our fundamental rights — from voting rights to reproductive freedom.


• Our fundraising has been off to a slow start this month. If we’re going to help Democratic candidates fight back against right-wing mega-donors, it’s important that we catch up on our goals — and quickly.

While Republicans rely on their mega-donors to line their campaign coffers, our team is fueled by folks like you chipping in $5, $10, or $25 at a time in response to emails like this one. So we mean it when we say we can’t do this without you.

The GOP’s chances in November’s midterm elections — and the consequences that would follow — could be decided right here in Colorado. So before tomorrow’s deadline, will you chip in a donation of any amount to help us close the gap in our fundraising and hit our mid-quarter goal?
