This month I attended the Brand New Congress Summit for the 2020 slate. In addition to wonderful workshops, informational panels and presentations, we took some time to gather and reflect upon our campaign journeys so far.
Surrounded by passionate leaders who are brave enough to run for office and become champions of the people, I felt a rush of emotions: pride, gratitude, and determination. I attempted to put what running for office has meant to me into words.
