Joe Biden established a new “Ministry of Truth” at the Department of Homeland Security in order to “combat disinformation that poses a threat to the homeland.” We all know what that means: targeting speech from conservatives that the left disagrees with. And we all know that this new ridiculous department won’t fact check all “disinformation,” especially not the blatant lies coming from the White House. The White House this week claimed that, when Biden took office, NO VACCINES WERE AVAILABLE. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We all know that President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed had delivered millions of vaccines by the time Joe Biden took office. Even the Washington Post told the White House to delete this tweet because it is a bold faced lie. Another lie the “Ministry of Truth” won’t fact check? The lie from the Secretary of Homeland Security - which will oversee this new Orwellian department - that our border is secure, as he claimed during sworn Congressional testimony recently. Maybe Joe Biden and the Department of Homeland Security should focus more on the border crisis they created instead of silencing political speech they don’t like. The Border Crisis is Fueling a Drug Crisis CLICK HERE OR ON THE IMAGE ABOVE TO READ THE ARTICLE Joe Biden’s open-border policies aren’t just fueling an illegal immigration crisis, they’re fueling an overdose crisis as well. This week, it was reported that more than 107,000 Americans died from overdoses last year, two-thirds from synthetic opioids like fentanyl, which drug cartels smuggle across our southern border and into our communities. Biden’s border crisis is a direct threat to our national security and the safety of all Americans. Joe Biden could do something very simple to secure our border: Reimplement the Trump policies that discouraged illegal immigration. Policies like the Remain in Mexico Program, asylum cooperation agreements from Northern Triangle countries, and basic enforcement of our immigration laws. But Joe Biden refuses to do this because he cares more about what radical immigration groups want than the interests of the vast majority of Americans. No Leases. No Energy. Joe Biden has been in office for almost 500 days and has yet to lease one acre of land to drill oil in America. It’s very simple: if you don’t lease land to oil companies for drilling, you will never fix the energy crisis we currently face. Joe Biden declared war on American oil and gas since the first day of his administration. Biden canceled an American pipeline (while approving a Russian one). Biden outlawed new oil and gas projects on federal land and water. And Biden implemented new regulations that make it harder for oil and gas companies to get the investment they need to deliver energy to Americans. This is unacceptable. I’ve introduced legislation that would require Joe Biden to resume the same pace of oil and gas lease approvals that President Trump maintained. It’s a simple bill that would be a better step in the right direction for America’s energy industry and the American people. But Nancy Pelosi refuses to bring the bill to the floor. With Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, we will never address the serious problems our country faces.
