Women’s Human Rights defenders and activists everywhere are demanding justice, equality, and peace. With so much political uncertainty looming about, we can’t help but feel the weight of the injustices we have seen, felt, and heard lately deep down to our bones.

Urgent Action Fund supports the strongest women and trans human rights defenders out there. We proudly support activists who raise critical issues and work on dismantling patriarchal, racist, capitalist, and other oppressive agendas. These fearless women and trans human rights defenders continue to face risks: security threats, loss of income, loss of liberty, exhaustion, stress, and harassment, to name a few. Your gift can change that.
Stand In Solidarity With Activists Demanding Justice
This year, our grantees have stood on the frontlines confronting injustices. With our support grantees have:
Stood alongside Black Muslim journalists in France whose freedom of speech and basic security was threatened.
Evacuated women human rights defenders living under threat in Syria for documenting human rights violations committed by political parties.
Organized rapid mobilizations in Texas and California in response to the current administration’s agenda of surveillance, incarceration, and detention of immigrant families.
