John, we can't
take this lightly.

Attacks against Cori have already started — from Republican opponents,
Democratic challengers, and super PACs looking to defeat our
people-powered movement.

FIRST: A GOP challenger attacked Cori's support for defunding the police.
But we know the truth — all our country has done is give more funding to
the police, and yet 2021 set a record for fatal police shootings.

THEN: A corporate-backed Democratic opponent launched a disgusting attack
ad. But while our opponent was filming this ad, Cori was showing up with
our community to rally for abortion rights and meeting students at local
schools.

NOW: Mailers are showing up across St. Louis from a mystery establishment
group spreading hateful lies about Cori.

we’re setting a goal to raise $12,000 by our mid-month fundraising
deadline tomorrow at midnight to fight back against these attacks. If

The harsh reality is that this is just the beginning. The GOP and
far-right groups have already made it clear that they’re terrified of
Cori’s bold, progressive agenda and they’re prepared to spend record
amounts of money to attack Cori during the midterm elections.

Cori has been an unapologetic advocate for our progressive values and has
made it clear she’s not backing down in the fight to pass Medicare for
All, a Green New Deal, and anti-racist legislation. There’s no doubt that
this stance will make Cori a top target of GOP dark money this year.

At the same time, we know she has been extraordinarily effective, passing
25 pieces of legislation in just over one year in office. That’s why we
have no time to waste: We need to raise $12,000 by midnight tomorrow to
make sure we have the resources to protect Cori’s seat and make sure she
can continue advocating for a people-first agenda in Congress.
