We just learned that the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has reserved $9 million in ads in Wisconsin. And they're spending another $2.6 million as part of a joint investment with Ron Johnson's campaign.

The NRSC is the organization responsible for electing Republicans to the Senate, and they're investing heavily in Wisconsin because they know that this race will determine control of the Senate.

Never before have they made an investment this large and this early in the election cycle. We always knew outside groups would spend big in Wisconsin, but quite frankly we weren't expecting it to come so soon.
