John, I’m sick and tired of this BS.
FIRST : It was leaked that the Supreme Court would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.
THEN : Twenty-four hours later, JD Vance officially became my Republican opponent. This is the same guy that called pregnancy from rape “inconvenient” and said overturning Roe would be a “victory.”
NOW : Thanks to Senate Republicans’ abuse of the filibuster, we once again failed to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to codify Roe into law. Right-wing politicians in states across the country—including Ohio—will ban abortion when Roe is officially overturned next month.
A 50/50 Senate isn’t working. We just can’t get a damn thing done right now to protect reproductive rights, expand voting protections, or cut workers in on the deal. And frankly I’ve had enough of it.
It has never been more important to win here in Ohio to expand our Democratic Senate majority. Folks, with all that’s on the line we can’t afford to lose.
