Here are a few crucial reasons that a donation today would make the
biggest impact on our campaign and our ability to keep fighting for NY-16:

* Jamaal has never accepted a single donation from corporate PACs
because he knows that the true power lies with the people. And this
means hitting our fundraising goals each month is critical to our
ability to keep sharing our progressive values with supporters all
around NY-16. 
* Last quarter, our campaign was outraised by our conservative opponent.
What's more, the New York State Court recently ruled the current
district maps as unconstitutional. New maps are being drawn and it is
looking like our primary will be delayed and split from statewide in
NY, which will drive down turnout and hurt progressive campaigns like
ours. Long story short, there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding this
election right now. So we need to be prepared to fight as hard as
possible for the future of NY-16 and communities that look like ours. 
* We can't afford to lose progressive leaders in times like these. Over
the past few weeks we've seen and experienced what it looks like when
our leaders do not have our best interests at the core of their
legislative values. Now more than ever, we need to uplift and support
progressive voices if we want a fighting chance at building the
democracy and community we deserve.
