John – After the SCOTUS majority made several alarming decisions on voting rights and redistricting, A.G. Holder had this to say:
Indeed, SCOTUS has become so politicized by its six ultra-conservative justices that it’s losing its legitimacy, and Justice Alito’s leaked draft opinion only bears that out.
So what do we do now? Our answer at the NDRC is this: We keep fighting for our democracy – no matter what SCOTUS does.
Because our strategy to secure fair elections, and thereby make sure an extreme minority can’t impose their laws on the rest of us, never depended on one court.
We’ll keep fighting. And we’d love to have you with us.
