Friend,
When I worked in the Obama administration, I saw firsthand what could happen when building a strong team. When you’re surrounded by a diverse group of people who share your motivation for progress, you experience healthy collaboration and positive results.
The same lessons are evident in the classrooms I’ve taught in. When a group of students feels enthusiastic about what they’re learning, there is a vibrant, contagious energy. Together, students can learn more efficiently and effectively than they could have if they kept their ideas to themselves.
I feel the same way about this campaign. Together, I know we can build a movement for real change here in Maryland, but to stay on this path we need your help.
That’s why I’m personally reaching out this morning to ask if you’ll consider investing your first contribution to support our campaign before tomorrow night’s mid-month deadline.
I know that this race will be a challenge. We are up against insider candidates who are more concerned with seeing their names and faces on billboards than with bettering our state. But if our campaign rises above the distractions of my opponents’ ego-driven status quo arguments, I believe that we can win and build a brighter future for every Marylander.
By making your first contribution to our campaign today, you’ll help us build the strongest team possible to stand out in this crowded race. You’ll be investing in our future by allowing us to plan ahead better. By doing so, you’ll become an essential partner in our shared movement.
So please, before our mid-month deadline tomorrow at midnight, will you chip in your first $5 or whatever you can spare today to support our campaign?
Thank you,
John
