Friends,
As we gather around loved ones this week, remember those who are not at our table. Remember the deployed soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, as well as the vets who returned and are still struggling. Remember clergy, law enforcement, other first responders and social workers who cheerfully and professionally give themselves to our communities, often sacrificially.
Let’s take that Thanksgiving spirit into the holiday season and all of 2020. Consider mentoring a child. Help stock a food pantry. Support your faith leader. Become the anonymous angel that helps a mother standing in line at the grocery store. Flash a smile and shake hands with a deputy sheriff and a teacher.
Northwest Florida and all America craves more kindness and genuine leadership. Whatever you choose to do, spread joy and improve lives.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Phil
