Hi,

It's the best time of the year -- watching the game with my family, smoking a turkey, eating an after-dinner bowl of menudo, reflecting on the past year, and giving thanks.

It's been a huge year for Texas Democrats and that's all because of you. You have been by our side every day as we fought to invest in our public schools, stop the Republican sales tax increase, and protect our right to vote. We hosted the third presidential debate, launched our Staff the Movement Training Academy, and elected Democrats to local office.

I'm grateful for all the volunteers, staffers, and Democratic candidates running for office up and down the ballot. Texas is the biggest battleground state because you talked to your neighbors, attended events, and gave to your state party.

Creating the lasting change that we want to see in our state and our country takes time. It takes effort. It takes all of us continuing to build the future we want. As we approach the new year, let's celebrate what unites us and renew our promise to a fair shot for all of our families.

Thank you for being a part of this community. I can't wait to see everything we accomplish together in 2020.
