Earlier this year, the DCCC decided to blacklist any vendors or staffers
who work on insurgent primary campaigns.

This incumbent protection policy has been an unprecedented grab of power
and is a slap in the face of Democratic voters across the nation. But
thankfully, Justice Democrats has been unwavering in their support of
insurgent primary campaigns and they have bravely fought against the
DCCC’s blacklist policy.

I want to make sure that Justice Democrats has the resources they need to
keep supporting their endorsed candidates, like Marie Newman in Illinois,
who is fighting for our values against an incumbent who stands against
everything we represent.

You and I both know that voters are sick of the status quo holding on to
power and stifling new voices. They are sick of D.C. politicians who care
more about holding onto their own power than a true competition of ideas.

For too long the establishment has written new voices out and hasn’t taken
their campaigns seriously. But Justice Democrats has always had the
courage to invest in underdog campaigns.

In 2021, we’ll need a large coalition of progressive voices who will fight
to pass Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and end mass deportation and
incarceration. With your support, we can elect more diverse, progressive,
working-class champions to Congress who will fight alongside me and other
JDs for change.
