John – wanted you to see what NDRC President Kelly Burton said about the connection between the Supreme Court, abortion rights, and fair maps:
When elections are fought on fair maps, we’re more likely to get policies that reflect the will of the voters. So here’s the deal. At a time when the Supreme Court majority is comfortable disregarding the will of the American people (only 3 in 10 adults support overturning Roe v. Wade ), it’s more critical than ever for legislators – in the states and in Congress – to be beholden to voters. And the way we make that happen is by ending gerrymandering.
I know there’s a lot going on right now, but I have to ask: Can you chip in to help the NDRC fight for all of our rights by strengthening American democracy?
