At a time when gas prices are at record highs in the United States, crippling our workers and families, Joe Biden and Deb Haaland are canceling more oil leases, right here in Alaska.
To make matters worse, Liberal Lisa Murkowski was the tie-breaking vote to advance the confirmation of Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, who brought this disastrous decision down, killing Alaskan jobs and energy.
This decision shows a reckless apathy for Americans and Alaskans. When oil isn't flowing, our dads can't provide for their families, our moms can't feed their children, and across the nation, workers can't fill up their cars to get to work. Over 1 million acres here in Alaska’s Cook Inlet have the potential to unleash American energy, but under this energy-annihilating Administration, we're out of business.
When I am elected, I will fight to unleash Alaskan and American energy and bring down costs at the pump.
We will use our God-given resources to create jobs and make America Energy Independent Again.
