Hi folks, I’m Paul Begala.

I served as Bill Clinton’s chief strategist when he ran for president in 1992 and won a commanding majority of electoral votes. A win that big took a lot of planning, in-depth strategizing, and a whole ton of persistence from folks on our team.

But, I want to take a moment and talk to you about the race that I believe isn’t mentioned enough by pundits and politicos: Susie Lee’s race for re-election in Nevada’s Third District.

In a moment, I’ll tell you why I believe this and then I’ll ask you to support Congresswoman Lee by chipping in today.

Look, it’s no secret at this point – the Republican Party is in a very strong position to take back the House and possibly the Senate. And from a strategy standpoint, it’s possible that the upcoming Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade will add to their momentum.

However, does this mean we don’t stand a chance? Absolutely not.

In fact, I believe that if we strategize the most important ‘tipping point races’ across the country, Democrats can win.

You might be asking yourself, what’s a tipping point race? In this case, a tipping point race is one that is statistically one of the Republican Party’s best chances at giving them the five seats they need to take control of the House.

Susie Lee’s seat is one of the biggest tipping points for the GOP, and they’d consider a win in NV-03 to be a sure sign that they’re on the path to retake the House. It’s why they lined up four Republicans to run against her, have spent over $2 million – and growing! – with six months left, and have launched a massive ad campaign in Las Vegas to unseat her.

The Republican Party’s path to retaking the House is clear to me – and it runs right through Susie’s district.

Political strategy is my profession and I want to see Democrats protect their incumbents in their most competitive races. Will you help me do just that by chipping in what you can to Susie Lee, running in one of Democrats’ must-win congressional seats?
