John,

After Tuesday’s primary election, we learned I will not be advancing to the general election as a nominee for Nebraska’s Second Congressional District.

Though we will not be moving forward, I am proud that we ran a campaign addressing the issues that impact Nebraska families and workers every day, like inflation, rural broadband, infrastructure, good-paying jobs, and voting and reproductive rights.

I want to thank you for being part of our campaign. It was an honor to meet so many Nebraskans and hear your stories. I am especially grateful to my team and my family, in particular my mother and my husband, for their support on this journey.

I look forward to working alongside our Democratic party and nominee Senator Tony Vargas to make sure Don Bacon is defeated in November. Rest assured that I will never stop fighting on your behalf and advocating for Nebraskans.
