Join Brooklyn Young Democrats TOMORROW (Saturday) at 11:45am to rally for reproductive rights!
We'll be marching from Cadman Plaza to Foley Square with our fellow borough-wide and neighborhood clubs to make it clear that bans on abortion are unacceptable, and that elected leaders must act to protect our rights. We'll be meeting at 101 Clark Street; if you're coming, wear green! We're also coordinating details on our new Slack channel––join us there!
Our canvass in support of District Leader candidate Monae Priolenau, which was previously set to happen at the same time, will be rescheduled!

Thanks to everyone who came to this week's general meeting on Zoom!
We heard from gubernatorial candidate (and current Public Advocate) Jumaane Williams, plus two candidates for lieutenant governor, Diana Reyna and Ana Maria Archila. We alsgot up-to-date on the redistricting process, and discussed what a potential Supreme Court decision on Roe means for New York.
BYD now has a Slack, which we'll use to chat politics, Brooklyn news and all things impacting young Democrats. Click here to join!
Attend our Canvassing 101 training
Lambda Independent Democrats and Brooklyn Young Democrats invite you to join us for a virtual training to learn the ropes about door-to-door outreach and phone-banking with our president Hunter Rabinowitz and seasoned organizer Rebecca An! Young People make up most canvassing jobs, and we want you to be prepared to speak on the important issues, and to campaign with greater ease.
