Our team’s end-of-month deadline is coming up on Saturday and we cannot afford to miss this goal if we want to head into the new year ready for the work ahead. In a minute, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to help us hit our target, but first, here’s some key context to help you decide.

This goal is about more than just cash. The amount of money we raise and the number of people who give says a lot about how strong our grassroots movement is.

And our average online contribution is just $14.05. That’s unheard of.

We’re proud to rely on grassroots donors chipping in whatever they can, whether it’s $5 or $14.05, to fuel our movement. We think our government should be run by the people -- not wealthy corporations and special interests.

But the GOP has another idea, John. Mitch McConnell and his right-wing buddies have amassed a $190 million war chest filled with dark money, from Billionaires, corporations, and quite possibly even foriegn governments (there’s a reason they call him Moscow Mitch you know) to attack vulnerable Democrats.

That’s why we’re depending on DFA members like you to step up before our end-of-month deadline on Saturday. The good news is that history shows we don’t have to match them dollar for dollar, we can beat that kinda cash with people-power -- funding a grassroots movement one $14.05 donation at a time.

We can -- and WILL -- take back the majority for Democrats in 2020. And we’ll do it the right way -- with a strong grassroots team ready to bring about positive change for their communities.
