I'm sure by now you've seen the reports: the Supreme Court has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. If accurate, this opinion will send our country back 50 years and lead to the unnecessary deaths of untold numbers of women. Make no mistake: for the first time in history the Supreme Court has taken away a constitutional right. This decision will further divide our country and exposes the far-right justices for the zealots (and liars) that they are.

In November, Democrats need to take this decision to the ballot box, and elect a Democratic majority in the House and Senate committed to reversing this heinous decision and enshrining a woman's right to choose into federal law. We need to elect a Democratic majority in the Senate that will end the filibuster if that's what it takes. And we need to expand the Supreme Court. This reactionary court has already undermined our democracy with the Citizen's United decision and overturning the Voting Rights Act. Now they're coming for women's reproductive rights. If we don't expand the court now, it's gay marriage that's next, along with overturning the ACA, environmental protections, labor rights, and every law that this tyrannical majority decides they don't like.
