Last week, we learned of a Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade. This news impacts all of us. Roe ensures the right to choose to have an abortion.

We cannot stay silent while attacks against our fundamental rights continue. It is critical that we raise our voices and take action to send a clear message along with partners on the ground that abortion rights must be protected. It is incredibly necessary to act now and show our support for protecting abortion access.

President Biden and Democrats are pro-union

Last week, President Biden and Vice President Harris met with labor leaders from across the nation -- including those who unionized their workplaces.

The Biden-Harris administration has taken a number of steps to support unions, including forming a task force, led by Vice President Harris, to support labor organizing. Earlier this year, President Biden adopted the task force’s recommendations that promote worker organizing and collective bargaining for public and private sector employees.

Record-setting job growth

We saw our nation’s record job growth continue in April. Under the Biden-Harris administration, 428,000 jobs were created last month, bringing the total number of jobs created since President Biden took office to 8.3 million. That’s historic!

The Biden-Harris agenda, including the American Rescue Plan, has helped build the strongest job creation economy in modern times. Take a look at our progress:

President Biden and Vice President Harris are lowering internet costs

As part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, President Biden and Vice President Harris worked with Democrats and Republicans to create the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) to help ensure American families can access affordable high-speed internet. This week, President Biden announced that his administration has secured commitments from 20 internet companies to cut the cost of high-speed internet to no more than $30 per month for millions of families. In a world where daily life and work consistently demand access to reliable internet, this is a critical step that will relieve costs for millions across the country.
