We’re more than halfway through July, but we still have more than $35,000 to go to reach our $70,000 matching challenge. If you’re outraged by the brazen corruption and scandal distorting the Trump administration’s priorities, I hope you’ll consider making a matched contribution to support our crucial legal and investigative work. We couldn’t do this work without your support.

Just in the last week, we learned that the Trump International Hotel in DC has been paid more than $1.1 million from just four political committees, including Trump Victory and the Republican National Committee. More profits are already on the way, with another Trump fundraiser last Friday at his golf club in Bedminster, and reports that Trump National Doral is a finalist to host the G-7 summit next year. Last Monday, Kellyanne Conway defied a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee, refusing to testify about her violations of the Hatch Act and use of her official position for partisan purposes. The blatant profiting off the presidency, refusal to follow ethics laws, and numerous presidential abuses of power—it’s overwhelming, and it’s unacceptable.

The recent turnover in Trump’s administration shows that there is momentum around building a better government, even if that means tackling it scandal by scandal. CREW has taken more than 450 legal actions since the start of the Trump presidency, and although we’ve had important victories, there is still so much work left to do.

We won’t rest until this corrupt administration has been held accountable, our democracy has been strengthened, and our laws have been reformed so that no president can ever again turn the White House into an extension of their private business. If you’re with us, we need your support today—your contribution will be matched and will go twice as far in supporting our anti-corruption strategy.

Thank you,

Noah Bookbinder
