I want to be transparent and share our strategy with you.
Hey John —
I'm Isra, Team Cori's Campaign Manager. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you.
I'm an activist, political organizer, and served as Cori’s Campaign Manager in her historic 2020 run! I'm so excited to be back on this team and lead this work to re-elect Cori.
I first got involved in politics in 2015 during Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign, knocking on doors and organizing in my community and across the nation. After witnessing the power and need for transformational candidates, I joined Brand New Congress and served as the Executive Director to advocate for progressive candidates who would put their communities first — not corporate interests.
I’m so proud to have led a team of volunteers, organizers, and talented staff in electing Cori to Congress. In her first term, Cori has introduced bold, needed legislation like the Green New Deal for Cities and the People's Response Act and led movements for housing, reproductive freedom, and more.
Now, we need to join together to re-elect Cori. If you're ready, will you chip in $5 or more to power our campaign and help keep Cori in Congress?
Chip in $5
I was called to rejoin this campaign because we simply can't lose Cori's voice and activism in Congress. But the far-right and big-money super PACs will do everything in their power to defeat our movement.
That's why it's so critical we work together to prepare to go up against four Democratic challengers in our August primary election. Since we're counting on your support, I want to be transparent and share our strategy with you:
- Organize everywhere: To win, we need to reach every voter. That's why we're building the largest organizing program St. Louis has ever seen to connect with folks across the district.
- Share Cori's vision and legislative achievements: Cori's working every day to pass the legislation our communities need, and we need to make sure voters know it's Cori who has their best interests in mind — not her corporate-backed opponents. In fact, she’s passed more than 25 pieces of legislation in just over one year in Congress. That’s extraordinary, and we need to make sure people know.
- Focus on community: Cori first ran for office because she saw how our community needed leaders they could count on. Cori's delivered for St. Louis as our Congresswoman, and her work's just getting started.
Your support will directly help us implement this strategy and WIN. Please, if you can, chip in $5 right now to re-elect Cori.
Let's get to work,
Isra
