America Last

As we noted yesterday, pallets of baby formula ([link removed]) have been discovered at detention facilities along the southern border while American stores shelves are empty and parents coast to coast are panicking.

America's baby formula crisis is quickly becoming a symbol of Biden's "Make America Last" administration. No formula for your babies, but illegal aliens are first in line.

Of course, the Biden Administration claims they are required by law to provide illegal aliens everything they need – whether it's free health care, free hotel rooms ([link removed]) , free lawyers ([link removed]) , free travel ([link removed]) , free education or free baby formula.

But when Joe Biden took the oath of office, he swore to protect and defend the American people, not the people of the world who broke our laws by entering the country illegally.

It's hard to imagine a more obvious difference between an America First administration and a president who seems more interested in managing America's decline.

Here's another example.

Earlier this year, the Washington Free Beacon ([link removed]) reported that the Biden Administration was providing "safe smoking kits" to drug addicts. The Beacon reported that the kits included crack pipes, paid for at taxpayer expense and all in the name of "racial equity."
Of course, this will make drug addiction easier and more likely.

The White House vehemently denied ([link removed]) the report, and left-wing media "fact checkers ([link removed]) " denounced it.

Well, the Washington Free Beacon did something that Big Media apparently doesn't know how to do – real journalism ([link removed]) .

It sent reporters to five cities -- Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond, Virginia, -- where groups are distributing these federally-funded "safe smoking kits." They got kits from each of the five cities, and you'll never believe what they found. Crack pipes in every one!

How could the White House and the Big Media "fact checkers" get it so wrong? The answer, of course, is that they didn't get it wrong. They lied!

So, no formula for American babies, but baby formula for illegal alien babies being brought into the country.

Not one dollar to finish the border wall to stop the massive flow of illegal drugs pouring into the country. But millions of dollars to give away crack pipes in Democrat-run cities.

No wonder so many Americans think the country is on the wrong track. (See next item.)

Joe In Jeopardy

Two polls released this week found Joe Biden's approval rating below 40%. A poll from Monmouth University ([link removed]) pegged the president's rating at 38%. An Investor's Business Daily ([link removed]) poll found Biden's rating at 39%. That's a serious danger zone for any politician.

The Monmouth poll was also notable because it found that 79% of Americans feel the country is on the wrong track. That's worse than at any point during the peak of the COVID pandemic!

Meanwhile, the latest ABC News / Washington Post ([link removed]) poll finds that 68% of Americans disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the economy.

Speaking of the pandemic, President Biden yesterday ordered flags at the White House and at all federal buildings to be flown at half-staff until May 16th in memory of the one million Americans ([link removed]) who died due to COVID.

When Joe Biden took office, there were just under 400,000 COVID deaths ([link removed]) in the U.S. That means another 600,000 people have died since he took office. But Biden told us he had a plan to shut down the virus ([link removed]) . He blasted Donald Trump, saying anyone who presided over 200,000 lost lives was unfit to be president ([link removed]) .

Biden lied. He had no plan to address COVID, and far more Americans have died under his failed leadership.

A Hedge Of Protection

In the aftermath of the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion by Justice Samuel Alito overturning Roe v. Wade, pro-abortion extremists have waged a concerted campaign to intimidate the justices in their homes and to intimidate pro-life Americans all across the country.

As we have reported, the office of a pro-life organization in Wisconsin was firebombed. Numerous churches ([link removed]) and crisis pregnancy centers ([link removed]) have been attacked. The headquarters of Concerned Women for America was vandalized. Susan B. Anthony List is experiencing the same sort of left-wing hate.

Our offices are in a building with other businesses and organizations. Obviously, not everyone in liberal northern Virginia shares our values. I got into my car earlier this week and discovered that someone had pounded three nails into one tire.

A bullet was fired through the window of Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares's ([link removed]) office. The left is still furious that it lost the Virginia elections and that the governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general are all pro-life.

It's a good thing the left is so tolerant or things might get really ugly!

Speaking for all of us on the frontlines of this battle, I know we would appreciate your prayers for a hedge of protection as we fight to restore legal protection to the most innocent among us, our defenseless preborn children.

Barnette For Senate

You may not be following this, but there is a hotly contested Republican Senate primary in Pennsylvania. There are three main candidates. One is Dr. Mehmet Oz, endorsed by Donald Trump. Another is David McCormick, a former hedge fund CEO and Bush Administration official. The third candidate is a wonderful Christian, African American lady, Kathy Barnette.

This race is to fill the seat currently held by Republican Senator Pat Toomey, who is retiring. Losing the seat would make it very difficult for Republicans to take control of the Senate. There are good conservatives supporting each of these candidates for a variety of reasons.

In recent days, Barnette has gained a lot of momentum, and it now looks like a three-way race that anyone of them could win. Sadly, she has come under vicious attack by the Republican Party establishment that believes she can't win in November. Even Sean Hannity devoted a significant part of his show a few days ago to piling on against Barnette.

I've seen this happen many times before, and I despise it when good Christian conservatives are treated like this.

So, I am enthusiastically endorsing Kathy Barnette ([link removed]) in Tuesday's Pennsylvania Republican Senate primary.

The pro-life powerhouse Susan B. Anthony List also threw its weight behind Barnette this week, as did the Club For Growth.

Stand With Israel

In an uncertain world, the one lasting alliance is the U.S.-Israel alliance. Pro-Israel Christians are the main reason why the United States is the most pro-Israel nation in the world. But with the Biden Administration attempting to resuscitate the failed nuclear deal with the terrorist regime in Iran, Israel needs our support now more than ever.

That's why I strongly encourage you to attend the 2022 Christians United For Israel Washington Summit ([link removed]) . The Summit will be held July 17 – 19 in Arlington, Virginia, just outside the nation's capital.

The Summit will feature sessions on combating anti-Semitism, Iran's threat to the Middle East and how pro-Israel activists can make a difference at the state level.

There will be a Night to Honor Israel with remarks by Pastor John Hagee and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley. And former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman will deliver the keynote address at the CUFI Partners Banquet.

Click here to learn more and to reserve your seat ([link removed]) . Please register today as rates go up May 16th!

Good News
* The U.S. Navy ([link removed]) has updated is recommending read list for 2022 and removed three leftist, woke books that sparked outrage last year.

* Textbook publishers ([link removed]) agreed to remove woke agenda items after Gov. Ron DeSantis banned the use of dozens of textbooks in Florida's schools. This is an important victory with far-reaching consequences given the state of Florida's purchasing power. It also underscores the necessity of conservatives aggressively fighting back in the culture war.

* Conservative candidates running against critical race theory and other forms of leftist indoctrination made major gains in Texas school board elections ([link removed]) .

* Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has sent more than 30 buses ([link removed]) of illegal aliens to Washington, D.C.
