Dear Friend,
Is unionized coffee becoming the new normal? If Starbucks workers have any say, then yes, it is! For weeks now, you have seen more and more workers at Starbucks locations file for a union election or start to organize. We want to continue support this national movement that was ignited by a unionization at a Starbucks in Buffalo, New York just a few months ago, will you help us by donating today?
As Starbucks workers are coming together with the desire to bargain over what’s possible at work, the company has disbursed a massive union-busting campaign at locations throughout the country. Using every resource in its back pocket, the coffee giant shop has been closing stores, dispatching top executives to discourage unionizing and surveil workers, trying to rig union votes by stacking stores with new employees who are anti-union, punishing union leaders by changing their hours, hosting anti-union meetings, and more.
You have the power to guarantee we have the most powerful and trailblazing campaigns to help workers organize. We just need to raise $7,823 more to reach our fundraising goal of $25,000 by May 16th to ensure we support as many workers as possible, like the Starbucks workers who are organizing.
In Solidarity,
