John,
For years, the NRA has stopped researchers from acquiring data critical to finding ways to reduce gun deaths. And do you know what they’re sacrificing lives for? Preventing a firearms registry. This pales in comparison to the value of the lives that we lose to gun violence every day.
Can you donate now and help us end the NRA? [[link removed]]
The NRA’s latest deadly move is challenging California law that requires all firearms transactions to go through licensed dealers. This allows public health researchers to finally get the critical data to help find lifesaving solutions to this epidemic. But the NRA says that this is against the privacy rights of gun owners. This is a potentially deadly threat to Californians and ultimately, all Americans.
Brady knows how critical it is to fight the NRA and gun lobby’s deadly influence – that’s why we fought to release the most comprehensive set of gun store inspection records ever made public. This report builds upon and enhances our supply-side approach to stemming the flow of crime guns into communities.
We’re fighting the NRA from every angle we can and all of us are counting on you to fuel us to victory. If we want to make sure 40,000+ Americans are not killed every year by gun violence, we need data-driven solutions that can end this epidemic. Gun owner data is a critical part to understanding the root causes of gun violence.
We can't let the NRA continue to stand in the way.
John, can you give right now – any amount you are able – and help us end the NRA’s reign of terror that has stopped lifesaving progress for decades? [[link removed]]
