If we haven’t already met, my name is Alberto Ramos and I’m the Director of Talent Development here at New Politics! When I joined the team I had just finished my non-partisan fellowship in the White House where I saw the degree to which partisanship and politics got in the way of delivering tangible results. That experience made me realize just how much more we could accomplish if only our leaders were willing to set aside their personal ambitions and focus on how to make change for the better.

Seeing these possibilities reinforced my decision to join this team. New Politics’ mission recognizes the importance of finding the right leaders who are ready to serve their community and do the work.

Every day I’m recruiting military veterans, national service alumni, and community leaders from both sides of the aisle who we know will make transformational change.
