I am *always* trying to make campaigning as fun as possible. I can take the issues seriously without taking myself *too* seriously. 😉
We don’t have to keep running campaigns the same way just because that’s how it’s always been done. I’d even argue that there couldn’t be a more critical time for Democrats to get creative with our messaging.
Over 450,000 people and counting watched this. We reached a TON of Arkansas voters with a funny 36-second video that shares my name, what position I’m running for and where, what the job is, and the issues I care about. Now, we have HUNDREDS more people who want to engage, donate, and volunteer with the campaign. My favorite comment to see is “I’m sharing this with all my family and neighbors.” And that’s huge!
In the last election, more than a million Arkansans didn’t vote. They’ve checked out of politics because of its nasty culture, and I mean, could you blame them?
Clunky and outdated systems have families swimming upstream, struggling to make ends meet and they don’t feel like politicians are listening. On this campaign, we’re out to change that by shining a light on the solutions that will solve some of our biggest problems, and have fun while we’re doing it.
We’re seeing evidence that it’s working as our team of volunteers and our following grows every. single. day.
Democrats *can* win in Arkansas, and I’m ready to do things differently to earn voters’ trust across the state. Still, I need money to compete -- and while making TikTok videos is a great way to spread the word about my race, it won’t cover the cost of things like TV ads, direct mail, or the GOTV efforts we’ll need to win.
That’s where I’m hoping you’ll come in. Can I count on you to contribute $25, $50, $100, or more to help me raise $2,450 more today?
