Hey team — The past few weeks have made it clear that there’s a lot at stake here in Wisconsin. Here are three things you should know:

1. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) boasted massive fundraising numbers last quarter. They’ve raked in over $43 million since the beginning of the year with aims to target vulnerable Democrats and flip the Senate red.


2. Politico is reporting “Ron Johnson’s approval ratings are underwater.” With our current 50-50 majority at risk, flipping his seat could be a huge opportunity to protect and expand our Democratic majority.


3. Our fundraising numbers aren’t where they need to be at this point in the quarter. Tammy’s busy advocating for us in Washington, and lately, she hasn’t had much time to fundraise. That means it’s up to us to catch up on our goals and prepare for the important battles ahead.

Ron Johnson is vulnerable, but the NRSC is pouring cash into his re-election campaign to protect his seat. If we want a real shot at taking him down and expanding our Democratic majority, we’ll need to ramp up our fundraising efforts to get us back on track.
