[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont

Hello,

When I first moved to Vermont, I spent the majority of my days working as
a lawyer on Bridge Street in White River Junction—and as much time as
possible in the great outdoors.

A lot of my law school friends ended up on Wall Street or K Street. But I
loved the work I was doing in the community—and my friends in New York and
DC weren’t able to step right outside their homes and onto a trail for
running, hiking, or mountain biking.

Through my time on Bridge Street, Vermont became my home, and it’s where I
got to know the values of Vermonters: self-reliance, mutual support, and
cooperation built on trust.

The Senate could use some more of Vermont’s values to help our state and
our country move forward. That’s what I’ll work on if I have the honor of
serving as Vermont’s next senator. But with Mitch McConnell targeting this
race, it’s going to take everything we’ve got to keep this seat blue.

please consider pitching into this key Senate race today. Anything you’re
able to give will help continue growing this grassroots campaign.

Bridge Street is where I got my introduction to how Vermonters get things
done: by focusing on solutions, not who gets the credit. I’ve carried
those lessons with me throughout my career, and they’ve been a major key
to my success as a congressman.

There’s so much we can accomplish for the people of Vermont and for
working families nationwide: quality and affordable child care, paid
family leave, a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, lower prescription drug
costs, protecting the right to abortion, strengthening voting rights, and
so much more. I’ll continue to work to deliver results on your behalf.

But if Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans regain the majority,
they will continue their assault on individual rights and our democracy.
We can’t let that happen, so we must work together to win this race.

[ [link removed] ]This is a major moment for our campaign,
with the national GOP ready to pour money into Vermont. Can you chip in $5
or anything you can spare to power this team to victory?

Thanks so much,

Peter
