In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a moment to share a few other things I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for my husband, Mark, and my family who have supported me through my recovery and pushed me every single day to never give up.
I’m thankful for our Giffords Courage Fellows, who come from states all across the country but share a common bond in fighting to end gun violence. Young people are our future and we are lucky to have these students fighting by our side!
And I’m so thankful for each of you. Our strength lies in the people who power this movement.
We couldn’t do this work without you. We have a critical fundraising deadline coming up on Saturday.
We set goals like this and ask for your support because we’re working towards solutions that will make a real change and save lives from preventable gun violence.
And as long as you’re with us we’ll never stop fighting for change, because change means saving lives.
