When I first testified before the legislature at 17 years old, it was to be a voice for those who did not have one. 

Today, as Democratic leader of the Florida Senate and your State Senator, that’s still my top priority.

It’s no secret that Republicans in Tallahassee are out of touch. They’ve banned abortion after 15 weeks, gone to war with Disney for standing up for LGBTQ rights, and ignored our affordability crisis.
