Hey team,

Last week, I spoke in front of the courthouse at the Missoula rally protesting the leaked draft opinion on Roe v. Wade. There were up to four generations of Montana men, women and children gathered -- and their concern about the future was palpable.

[link removed] [[link removed]]Team, abortion and reproductive care isn’t just about women’s health, it’s family health.

It’s undeniable that restriction of any type of healthcare is going to disproportionately impact rural families and tribal communities with fewer resources. Healthcare workers and facilities work hard to reach all Montanans, so any further restriction will have a real and lasting impact on Montana families.

I’ve spent my career working to bring better health services to rural and tribal communities, and legislation like this could bring detrimental damage to the already scarce resources that are in place in these areas.

If elected, I’ll vote to codify the right to abortion access into law, but I can’t win without your help. Ryan Zinke and his anti-abortion activists are working hard to outraise us -- can you chip in $3 or more to help us combat their attacks? [[link removed]]

The right to privacy is enshrined in our constitution, and is one of our core Montana values. If you restrict the privacy between a woman and her doctor, what’s next? We can’t go down this slippery slope.

Last legislative session, there were a number of attempts to restrict abortion access in Montana. That means our state is vulnerable to harsher anti-abortion laws if this ruling is overturned.

The health of Montana families is at risk, team. Please chip in whatever you can to help elect a pro-choice candidate to Congress in November. [[link removed]]
