As we head into the holidays and the busiest shopping days of the season, let's take a moment to think about the workers.

I've advocated that we not only raise the minimum wage to at least $15 an hour, but that we index it so that we don't have to keep having this fight, year after year.

We need to think about the farm workers who lack basic worker protections that grow the food we serve on our Thanksgiving tables.

We should research which companies treat their workers well, buy local, and make sure our money isn't going to companies that reap major profits while their employees don't earn a living wage.

Wages shouldn't be stagnant while profits soar. Let's build an economy where everyone prospers, not just the super wealthy.

If you believe workers deserve a livable wage and fair working conditions, contribute $15 now to help me grow this campaign and enact this vision: >> [link removed]
