John: New Mexico communities raised me – from the moment I took my very first steps to the day I walked across the stage to accept my college diploma.
Growing up in New Mexico, I met friends and neighbors who were kind, innovative, and resilient – but I also saw that our elected officials could be doing more to harness our state's potential and support families.
That's why I dedicated my entire life to giving back to the state that raised me, first as the Director of Aging, then as a U.S. Congresswoman, and now as the first Democratic Hispanic woman to become Governor.
Since I took office, I've delivered real, meaningful change. I took bold action on climate change, signed a law to provide free higher education for all, legalized cannabis, and more. But to continue passing our progressive agenda, I need your help.
There are less than six months until my reelection, and I need to hit my $75,000 mid-month goal to defend myself from GOP attack ads: If you're with me, will you donate $5 right now to keep New Mexico blue?

This is me back when I was a U.S. representative. No matter my title, I'll never stop fighting for New Mexicans.
