Join us in Downtown Long Beach, Wednesday, May 25, from 5-7 PM at CADEM’s Bans Off Our Bodies Rally, in partnership with Planned Parenthood.

This event will include statewide elected officials like Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis, celebrities like Chelsea Handler, and key partner organizations throughout the state.

On May 2nd, Politico published a leaked draft of the Supreme Court majority opinion to overturn Roe v. Wade. The reversal of Roe v. Wade would mean the reversal of nearly 50 years of precedent protecting reproductive rights.

Red states across the nation are already implementing harsh bans on abortion access, and, if Roe v. Wade is overturned, 26 states could move quickly to do the same. As Republicans advance an agenda they have been planning for decades, we will not back down. We will fight for the majority of Americans who support the freedoms protected by Roe v. Wade, and we will fight for the millions of women facing the terrifying reality of life without access to essential healthcare.
