• Housing, Race, & Homelessness: Ending Poverty in the Bay Area, Monday, May 23 from 11:00AM – 12:30PM PT
  
  NPH co-hosts with the Commonwealth Club to dive deep into the concrete ways we can end poverty in the Bay Area. Listen to former Mayor of Stockton and Founder of End Poverty in California Michael Tubbs and All Home CEO Tomiquia Moss as they explore how housing instability is interconnected with racial inequality, poverty, and homelessness and outline his five-point platform for ending poverty in California. We’ll also hear from a panel of broad cross-sector partners on how to move principles and concepts to action items and concrete next steps, including: Cathy Eberhardt, Vice-Chair, Oakland Mayor’s Commission on Persons with Disability; Melissa Jones, Executive Director, Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative; and Courtney Welch, Emeryville City Councilmember.

• AHM Twitter Chat, Tuesday, May 24 from 11:00AM - 12:00PM PT: Trying to figure out how to amplify our collective pro-housing and pro-people messages during AHM? We got you covered: Co-hosted by NPH and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, we’ve organized an AHM Twitter Chat where we can come together to engage the Twitterverse to learn about innovative, proven solutions that can make meaningful progress for our communities.
