Today, the New York Times reported "a majority does not now exist in the Senate to support maintaining legal abortion nationwide."
It's terrifying -- and followed yesterday's 51-49 vote where Joe Manchin and all 50 Republicans opposed enshrining Roe into law.
The math is simple. If we lose Senate seats in 2022, democracy continues its downward spiral. If we flip 2 seats, Manchin and Sinema lose their veto, we can reform the filibuster, and America restores everything from voting rights to choice.
The stakes are high. The time is now to fight back. Thanks for being a bold progressive.
