We’re approaching our mid-quarter deadline which will expire in just a few days, and I’ll be honest: this is the wrong time to be falling behind.

At the halfway point to our June public reporting deadline, we should be halfway to our grassroots fundraising goal. But unfortunately, that’s not the case.

So I’m coming to you today: Will you help us get a head start on our mid-quarter fundraising so we can close the gap to our goal and look ahead to the June 7 primary?

Here’s why this deadline matters:

At the end of June, we’ll report our quarterly fundraising numbers to the public in what will be one of the most consequential moments of the election cycle. Republicans and their dark money PACs will go into a summer spending frenzy, and they’ll use our June reports to identify any slowdowns in grassroots support.

And before all of that, we face an even more critical date: the California primary on June 7th.

The jungle primary will be the first test of our grassroots movement’s strength, and we’re counting on a surge of support to help us boost voter turnout.

All to say, this is not the time to be falling behind on our fundraising goals. That’s why we’re setting a mid-quarter fundraising goal to make up some of the critical ground we lost, and I’m counting on you to help us hit our target.
