John,
Senator Bernie Sanders JUST reintroduced a bill in the Senate that would provide Medicare for All.
#Medicare4All will give everyone in the U.S. access to the health care, vision, and dental services they need without the need for private health insurance. Most importantly, Senator Sanders’ bill also includes universal access to Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), allowing people who need long-term care to choose where and how they receive care.
The fight for fair and just healthcare coverage in the U.S. has been long – and this bill reintroduction is a crucial step in getting us to a better healthcare system for everyone. That’s why it’s so important for you to help push for #Medicare4All now.

Access to health care and Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) is essential to allowing people to live life with dignity.
Currently so many of us – older adults, people with disabilities, and the families that care for them – are going without the support we need to live healthy and full lives in our homes. We desperately desire a chance to live with dignity in the place of our choosing, without the need for family members to quit their jobs to provide care our systems do not.
While a similar #Medicare4All bill was introduced in the House earlier this year, the truth is, this legislation has a long way to go before passage. We need to build a groundswell of demand now to help make it possible in the future.
Medicare for All would replace most current public and private health insurance with a new federal program that would guarantee health coverage for nearly all U.S. residents. Access to health care is important for everyone, especially those who don’t get coverage from their jobs – including many people who receive care, family caregivers and paid direct care workers.
The coverage this bill would offer would be a game changer for so many. Join the much needed fight now for universal access to health care and HCBS.
