Yesterday, the Senate voted on my bill, the Women’s Health Protection Act — legislation that would protect a person’s reproductive rights and guarantee equal access to abortion, no matter where they live. And folks, every single Republican Senator voted to block it.
I’m incredibly frustrated, and I’m sure you are too.
Republicans have been working toward this moment ever since the Supreme Court handed down its decision in Roe v. Wade almost 50 years ago — from passing abortion-ban laws in state legislatures across the nation to ramming right-wing justices onto the bench to do their bidding.
And when the news broke that the Court plans to overturn Roe — a decision that would put millions of lives in grave danger — Republicans celebrated. Mitch McConnell even touted the idea of passing a national abortion ban, should Republicans reclaim the Senate majority.
These last few weeks have been incredibly difficult and disheartening, but folks, I’m not giving up. Abortion access is a fundamental right, and I’ll never stop fighting to protect it.
Right now, I’m focused on protecting and expanding our Senate majority, because one thing’s for sure: we cannot afford to let McConnell continue to roll back our fundamental rights from the majority. But it’s going to take a lot of work (and resources) to protect and expand our majority this November, so I’m asking:
Will you pitch in $10 right now to support our work to protect and expand our Senate majority this November? Every dollar makes a difference when there’s so much on the line.

Without a federal law protecting our reproductive rights, women in Wisconsin will be at the hands of a dangerous abortion-ban law from 1849. Well folks, I won’t stay silent and let Republicans take us back, and I hope you won’t either.
Thanks for taking the time to read this message and pitch in, if you can.
