Since it was reported last week that a draft opinion shows the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, Republicans are continuing their attacks on reproductive rights.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell just said a ban that would make abortion illegal nationwide is "possible." That means regardless of whether you live in a blue state like Rhode Island or a red state, Republicans are trying to take away access to abortion services.

If Republicans take control of Congress, the first thing they will do is pass a national ban on abortion that will override state level protections. More than ever, we need leaders like Seth in Congress who will defend reproductive rights and work to ensure Roe is codified into law.

As Treasurer, Seth worked to pass legislation to codify Roe into Rhode Island law. Now, he's ready to continue standing up for reproductive rights in Congress. But he's up against Allan Fung, a Trump-supporting Republican, who just last week repeated his opposition to making Roe v. Wade the law in Rhode Island and accepted the endorsement of a group that wants to criminalize abortion.
