John,
Next Tuesday there are congressional primaries in the key battleground states of Pennsylvania and North Carolina. The following week, Georgia votes.
We are now well into primary season and with attacks on our rights on both the federal and state level, we need to Get Out the Vote and ensure people vote on their priorities.
Click here to RSVP for tonight’s “The Big Send” letter writing event with our allies at Vote Forward. We’ll be sending letters to voters in key battleground states, encouraging them to get out and vote!
What: The Big Send letter writing event When: Thursday, May 12, 8 – 9pm ET Where: Virtual Event (join from anywhere!)
If you can’t attend tonight’s event, I hope you’ll chip in to support CHN’s voter outreach efforts, which include translating voter materials into Spanish and helping voters in marginalized communities navigate dozens of new restrictive voting laws.

Thank you for all that you do to fight for the future or our country and our democracy.

--DOMINIQUE'S EMAIL--
John,
There is too much at stake in the 2022 election to sit on the sidelines. That’s why we’re partnering with our allies at Vote Forward for “The Big Send” letter writing party this Thursday, May 12th from 8 – 9pm ET. Volunteers and activists from across the country will send millions of nonpartisan handwritten letters encouraging people to vote on the issues most important to them in the 2022 midterms.
Click here to RSVP for this Thursday’s letter writing party to send letters to potential voters in swing states and districts across the country.
RSVP
After you RSVP, you’ll receive an email from Vote Forward with what you’ll need to prepare for the event. You’ll be prompted to create an account with Vote Forward (it only takes a second).
On Thursday night, you’ll download and print 20 letters to write at the event. You’ll need 20 stamps, a blue pen (blue because that won’t look like your message has been photo-copied), and 20 standard sized envelopes (#10 size).
All of us joining in on Thursday will be adding handwritten messages to letter templates (not postcards) and will be using nonpartisan messaging. We’re simply encouraging people to make their voices heard and vote on the issues that matter most to them.
Writing these letters really works to encourage voting. Because so many of us joined in for the 2020 election, 17 million voters were reached, well above the initial goal of 10 million. This time, with more restrictions on voting in place, the letters are even more important.
If you can’t join us this Thursday, can you chip in to our critical voter outreach efforts? We’re currently hiring more staff to reach voters in marginalized communities, translate voter materials to Spanish, and help voters navigate dozens of new restrictive voting laws.
DONATE
Together, we’re helping low-income communities and Black and brown voters make their voices heard and fight back against attacks on our rights.
Thank you,
