Race + Power Weekly

This week’s Race + Power newsletter continues to feature the spring magazine’s pro-Black content. We start with an interview by Cyndi Suarez with Liz Derias and Kad Smith about CompassPoint’s experience with supporting Black leaders to create pro-Black organizations, and the impact that has had on the organization. Next, Liz and Kad summarize what they are learning from CompassPoint’s pro-Black work. Then, from the cultural world, we highlight two clips from Donald Glover’s TV series Atlanta. The current season, the show’s third, centers the Black gaze, and what it says has a lot to do with what we’re talking about in our work.
